Reflection!!

My thoughts on opening a blog........

Opening up a blog was a good experience, totally different than what I’ve done before. At first, it was really confusing on how to use the website, but after using it a couple times I got use to it.  I don’t believe that I will continue using the blog, but I wont discard it because I don’t know what the future holds for me. I am really proud on how my first blog came up. 

Money isn’t HAPPINESS

Many people believe that in order to be happy, they need to rich, but not Christopher Johnson McCandless. Having a very affluent life style Chis always believe that it wasn’t fair that there are few rich people in this world while many people starve in this world. Not having his parents around because they were always busy working. Also figuring out that his father had an affair with his mother while being married to someone else made him distant from his parents, he only talked to his sister. That is when Chis realized he wanted to be far away from society and decided to go to Alaska without telling anyone from his family. Money wasn't happiness for Chis. 

What would you prefer a happy family or being rich filled with problems?

Escaping Society

Have you ever thought of leaving everything behind to escape from the chaos? Having nobody, but yourself somewhere in Alaska well Christopher Johnson McCandless did. He got tired of following rules imposed by society, had problems with his family and decide to go to Alaska because he felt that is problems were going to be solve. He decide to forget his past the best he could in order to enjoy the beauty of nature. I personally wouldn’t it myself, but my respects to him because I don’t believe I would of survived as long as he did in the wild.

Would you ever leave EVERYTHING behind to be alone in nature?

What is Success to You??

Success to me, is to be happy with who I am and to be able to accomplish the tasks that I set on myself. The feeling of actually achieving a goal is priceless J which gives me more motivation and confidence to continue with the rest on my journey that I have ahead of myself. My family has to do be one greatest part of my life that gives me that extra motivation that I sometime don’t have. They always push me to try my best in everything I do. Even if I don’t do it right, it’s an experience that I learn. Experiences teach us that not everything in life is easy and that one needs to work hard to get what one wants.

Media

Media hypnotizes us when we are in front of a TV making us spend hours and hours in front of the TV watching show after show that attract us for different reasons. For this reason many people believe that media is one of the main reasons for the violence in the world. As many shows, movies, and video games show violence, people believe that is the reason for the violence in the world. I don’t believe that is 100% true although television is terrible for us there is other factors that also contribute to this, like bad influences that bamboozle people, especially young adults. The lack of a parent being there when children are young because parents are working makes it easier to follow a questionable path. There are many other options, but the easiest way is to blame it on the media, because no one wants to be responsible.

I believe that we all can agree that advertisements are everywhere unless you're in the middle of nowhere, than that's an exception. With the same purpose, advertisements try to sell a product or service with something else attached. Sometimes it comes with humor, quality of the product, or sex appeal. They always try to be UNIQUE to be different from the rest. If that doesn't work they put a celebrity, so they make it seem that they use that product so you should too. One way or the other they always get what's they want people to prefer their product than their competition. The choice is ours hands, to be able choose what product would be best for us.
